AME Expands Capability of AME-2020 Digital receiver:
Scheduled for 2008, AME will upgrade the standard zone capability of the AME-2020 Digital Receiver to four zones from two. There will be no increase in price. The standard four-zone receiver can now be upgraded to eight zones for an additional cost. Each zone of an AME receiver can output a totally unique program on it's own schedule. Receivers and players from other companies provide as few as one zone. For more information, see the technical specifications section on this site.
AME Introduces real-time controls for the AME-2020 Digital Receiver:
In late 2008, AME will introduce a new enhancement to the AME-2020 Digital Receiver. A special switch panel will be added to permit changes from one program structure to another in real time. Up to four variants can be accessed. The ability to make changes is regulated by the AME Web Interface settings and can also be protected with the need for a password. This new capability allows operators of certain type of establishments to immediately adjust the audio atmosphere to better enhance their customers' experience. This new feature can also be used to insert spot or other announcements or sound effects into the audio program on either an instantaneous or "play-next" basis.
